Learning to Read

ACHS provides an excellent learning to read program called ABC’s with Ace and Christi. This comprehensive program takes a multisensory phonics approach to the teaching of reading. It leads the student through the basic phonemes of the English language and teaches the blending of sounds, equipping the child with word attack skills. Activities are designed for physical, academic and spiritual development.

The ABCs Kit consists of 2 instructional manuals and other complimentary resources.  The program provides work for 12 to 15 weeks.

The program is a combination of:

  • Early numeracy

  • Biblical character development

  • Plenty of graphics

  • Stories

  • Songs

  • Games

It can be used as a stand alone course to teach reading or elements can be used to remediate reading problems in older students.

The cost is approximately $480 for the whole kit.
